Artist Kamau Patton wanted to get a different angle on Los Angeles architecture. Taking off in a Robinson R-44 from Van Nuys Airport in California, he completed a choreographed fly-by of some of the city's tallest buildings. The piece was made possible with the help of the Machine Project, a nonprofit that aims to give people a new perspective on Los Angeles.
