Beer is front and center on restaurant and bar menus in Columbus, Ohio, where lagers, ales and hefeweizens are added to batters, pizza dough and sauces, and servers are trained to suggest the best beer and food pairings to patrons.
"The rising popularity of home-brewing and at-home chefs has created a demand for restaurants serving quality craft beer and food products," said Jessica Kittrell of 101 Beer Kitchen. "We’re in a Food Network era of growing consumer knowledge and thirst for good, full-flavored products. We demand more now."
