Sutter Health has announced a data breach affecting 4,500 patients after their personal information was found by local law enforcement officials in a drug-related probe in Oakland, Calif. Compromised data include patient names, Social Security numbers and birth dates. "We are concerned about this matter and take protecting our patients' privacy very seriously. At this time we do not know how the information was obtained," a notice on Sutter Health's website said.
