Barry Callebaut, Mondelez International and Cargill are among the confectionery companies investing in growth in the Asia-Pacific region. Euromonitor Head Researcher Lee Linthicum predicts confectionery growth in Asia will increase "by nearly $570 million to surpass $16.4 billion,” which will "further solidify Asia Pacific's position as the largest regional sugar confectionery market by retail value.”
