Only 27% of mobile consumers say they typically download applications when prompted to, while 79% said they prefer to get information from a mobile website, according to a report from Netbiscuits. The study also notes that 76% of mobile-using respondents won't engage with a branded website that isn't built for a mobile experience, and one-third of these will instead opt to give up or use a competitor's site.
