Type 2 diabetes patients who underwent framing effects intervention had a median LDL cholesterol level of 92 mg/dL at six months, compared with 103 mg/dL for the stage-matched intervention group and 106 mg/dL for the attention placebo group, a study indicated. Researchers also found patients in the framing effects group had an LDL control of 62.67%, while those who had stage-matched or placebo treatment had LDL controls of 46.58% and 40.54% respectively. The results were presented at the ADA 73rd Scientific Sessions.
