Florida Agriculture Commissioner Adam Putnam said he expects no long-term negative repercussions from Gov. Rick Scott's approval of a bill that dismantles the state's ethanol standard. After the bill was signed into law, Algenol CEO Paul Woods told a Florida newspaper that the state action could force his company to look elsewhere to build its first commercial-scale advanced-biofuel plant.
