Seattle's Gigabit Squared will charge $80 a month for its fastest broadband service, in which it has teamed up with the University of Washington to deliver download speeds that theoretically reach 1 gigabit per second over a fiber-optic network centered largely in the university section of the city. The company will offer a range of less expensive services, down to no charge for 60 months for 5 megabits-per-second downloads.
