Like businesses, colleges and universities must respond to market demands, says Amy Hillman, dean of the W.P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University. In this interview, Hillman says institutions must embrace technology and be adaptable to compete in the market. However, that can never be at the expense of staff and faculty trust. "As the world of higher education evolves, we need to keep the lines of communication open with both our employees and our other constituents to create a shared vision," Hillman concludes.
