After a five-month hiatus, John Hogan is returning to JPMorgan Chase in the newly created role of chairman of risk, with interim Chief Risk Officer Ashley Bacon taking that role permanently. Hogan's status might change, however, according to a memo sent by CEO Jamie Dimon. "John plans to carry out this important transition for several months," Dimon said. "We then hope he will stay at the firm in another senior role, but he may choose to do something different outside of our company."
