If a summer internship doesn't deliver a full-time job offer, be candid with other employers that you didn't get an offer, experts say. "The first question [in an interview] is going to be, 'What happened?'" says Scott Rostan, founder of Training the Street. "You need to have a credible story" such as not fitting in with the company's culture or structure.
