Huawei Technologies on Tuesday introduced the Ascend P6 which, at 0.24 inch wide, is said to be the world's slimmest smartphone. Huawei said it will ship the Ascend to 19 different countries, including China and several European countries, by some point in July. Also, Huawei clarified comments from top executive Richard Yu in which he said the vendor would consider buying Nokia under the right conditions. A company spokeswoman said Yu was speaking philosophically.
