A U.S. International Trade Commission vote Tuesday to ban some older iPhone could have a small but measurable effect on Apple and AT&T's revenues, according to a published report which also noted the decision is on appeal. The ITC ruled that the iPhone 4 and older versions violated Samsung Electronics' patents. Apple has heavily discounted the price of those models in order to lure entry-level buyers. The iPhone 4 accounted for 8% of the company's revenues in Apple's most recent quarter. The decision does not affect Verizon Wireless.
