An estimated $35 million wood pellet-export facility will be built at the CSX-served Port of Wilmington in North Carolina as part of an approved lease deal between the State Ports Authority and Enviva Holdings. "This is a great way to increase the state's global connection through our ports, supporting North Carolina businesses, expanding economic opportunities, enhancing port operations and bringing jobs to the greater Wilmington area," said North Carolina Transportation Secretary Tony Tata.
