Argos' mobile sales more than doubled year-over-year in the first quarter of 2013, increasing the company's overall e-commerce sales figures, which accounted for 42% of total sales. "Argos has delivered a good start to the year driven by continued success in consumer electronics and electricals, supported by growing Internet and mobile commerce sales," said Argos home retail group chief Terry Duddy, crediting in particular the retailer's drive to upgrade its mobile presence.
