Magellan Midstream Partners' move to stop sending unblended 87 octane gasoline to Iowa, starting in September, will push up the price of non-ethanol-blended gasoline and make retailers rethink the fuels they offer, said Lucy Norton, managing director of the Iowa Renewable Fuels Association. One of the best options would be E15, a high-octane and low-cost biofuel, which is so far being sold by only six retailers in the state, Norton said.
