A new seventh-grade lesson on propaganda has been revised after drawing criticism for including an excerpt from a speech by Adolf Hitler. The lesson, which meant to align with the Common Core State Standards, was modeled after lessons from Holocaust museums and asked students to study racist propaganda to try to teach students to think analytically. "With anything new, we're going to need to try things out and tweak them as they go," teacher Vivian Hanson said.
