The Pittsburgh Public Schools board has approved a rewrite of students' code of conduct that alters the definition of disorderly conduct. Under the change, disorderly conduct will refer to fighting, threatening, unreasonable noise, obscene language and creating a hazardous or physically offensive condition -- bringing the district's code more in line with the legal definition. Previously, there was more leeway associated with the citations, which could be issued for school disruptions.
