Russia won't extradite Edward Snowden to the U.S., says Russian President Vladimir Putin, who said Snowden hasn't committed any crimes in Russia. "Snowden is a free person," Putin said of the former U.S. government contractor, who revealed to newspapers the existence of a National Security Agency program that collects Americans' phone and Internet data. Snowden, who is said to want asylum in Ecuador, is now in the Moscow airport transit zone. A White House spokesman said the administration expects "the Russian government to look at all the options available to them to expel Mr. Snowden back to the United States."
