Researchers are studying and observing three asteroid-comet hybrids, called centaurs, orbiting around the planet Uranus. Two were discovered between 2002 and 2010 and seem to be chasing the planet, while the third, discovered in March 2013, follows an unusual orbit around the planet. Scientific calculations reveal that the third object appears to share an orbital period with Uranus and could offer answers to questions about outer-planet co-orbiting asteroids.
