Babies who did not receive immunization shots during an ear infection visit ended up having fewer well-baby visits between ages 2 months and 2 years than those who were immunized, according to a study in the journal Pediatrics. Skipping sick-visit immunizations was associated with a 66% higher risk of falling behind the recommended vaccination schedule, researchers said.
