American Campus Communities will be 20 years old this year. Last year in particular, Bill Bayless, president and CEO says, was "an incredible year for growth." He adds that on the development front, "we see excellent growth."
Colony American Homes has postponed its initial public offering, according to sources. It cited market conditions as the reason. It has intended to offer 20 million shares priced at $11.50 to $13 per unit.
Malkin Holdings will likely proceed to an initial public offering that includes the Empire State Building despite continuing legal issues. It is possible that the IPO could be undone if in later proceedings the shareholder vote is ruled invalid. That risk will have to be disclosed in the IPO.
