President Barack Obama arrived in Germany Tuesday to meet with Chancellor Angela Merkel, a day after the US and the EU began talks to negotiate a new trade agreement that would eliminate barriers and spur growth on both sides. "The goal must be the complete elimination of tariffs as well as all other trade barriers between both regions," said Anton Borner, head of the German exporters association. "That is why everything has [to] be put on the negotiating table without any exceptions."
