A committee of the American Bar Association has voted to do away with standards that require accredited schools to maintain a certain student-to-faculty ratio. The committee also voted on several other changes -- one of which adds additional hours of experiential coursework -- and considered how much job security legal faculty should have. The committee's suggestions need to be approved by the Council of the Section of Legal Education and Admissions to the Bar, which meets in August.
