The merger of Publicis and Omnicom could lead to consolidation talks at other firms as they try to grapple with the scale the new Publicis Omnicom Group can leverage, especially in media buying, analysts say. Interpublic is believed to be under the most pressure, according to analysts, but CEO Michael Roth said there is no immediate plan for a tie-up, and "there's nothing about being bigger that makes for better creative ideas." Still, "there's no telling what might take place," Roth said.
