The AlterG Bionic Leg uses sensors and advanced technology that allow patients to move their legs gradually to rehabilitate after an injury or stroke. "Both the patient and the therapist love the auditory feedback," said Gabe Griego of AlterG, "because it helps them understand how well the patient is doing and what response they're getting from the bionic leg." The AlterG Leg rents for about $1,000 a month.
