Photographer Joseph Blum presents a builder's view of construction at the world's "largest self-anchored suspension bridge" -- the $6.3 billion Bay Bridge project in San Francisco. His photographs depict how the concrete and steel bridge is becoming a reality, giving "the perspective of the people that were building it -- to give people a view of what it means to build a bridge over water," Blum says.
