Barry Callebaut has added production capacity to the Mexico City chocolate facility it purchased in 2011. The expansion adds 140 jobs and 65,000 metric tons of capacity, and will help the company expand in emerging markets. "Moving closer to our customers puts us in an even better position to continue opening up the Mexican confectionery market," said Dave Johnson, Barry Callebaut Region Americas president. "This attractive market is expected to grow significantly over the next years."
