Choosing foods can be tricky for celiac sufferers as the number of breads, brownies and other treats marked gluten-free continues to grow. The National Foundation for Celiac Awareness aims to make it a bit easier by endorsing the Gluten-Free Certification Program that's already up and running in Canada. The program requires food manufacturers to undergo stringent third-party audits to ensure the purity of what they're putting in the package, said foundation VP Jennifer North.
