RadioShack CEO Joe Magnacca joined the company not to sell it, but to revive it, he said while touring a New York City new-concept store that includes interactive displays and new technology. The consumer electronics chain's 4,400 stores will be updated in time for the holiday shopping season as the retailer aims to attract younger consumers, Magnacca said. "I'm not exactly the cost-cutting guy coming in here. That doesn't mean we don't want to finance what we're doing effectively. But we want to look forward, not backwards," he said.
