Antrim Wind Energy signed new payment-in-lieu-of-tax and land conservation deals with the town of Antrim, N.H., in support of the company's proposed 30-megawatt wind project. Antrim Wind's original application was denied by the state Site Evaluation Committee in February, finding that the surrounding conservation and open land would have been affected. The committee is slated to hold a public hearing on July 1 to look into the new agreements.
