DISH Network will shoulder the cost of in-flight TV on Southwest Airlines flights, allowing passengers to have free access to 14 live TV channels and 75 on-demand TV shows on their mobile devices. In exchange, DISH advertisements will be featured on Southwest confirmation e-mails and airport signs, as well as in a 30-second spot before the free TV begins. The partnership also rewards Southwest passengers with frequent-flier miles if they purchase DISH's Hopper DVR.
