Enterprises are increasingly tapping the power of the cloud and offsite data hosting to ensure business continuity in the event of natural disasters or other forms of system outage, according to Richard Cocchiara, chief technology officer of IBM's Business Continuity & Resiliency Services. "Most large companies have some sort of a backup strategy, but more often than you might think we find companies who are not sending their data offsite or not sending it far enough offsite," he said.
