Some students in Sangamon County, Ill., will be learning about the ins and outs of starting a business through a new entrepreneurship program. Students enrolled in the program will spend each morning of the school year at various local businesses, where they will learn the principles of business ownership and innovation. "We are seeking to bring kids from a variety of high schools and allow them to empower themselves innovatively and creatively and hook them up with such a large amount of human resources in our business field," said Bruce Sommer, program chairman and business management professor at the University of Illinois Springfield.
