After peaking in 2004, the rate of injuries related to riding all-terrain vehicles gradually declined among children and teens aged 15 and younger from 2001 to 2010, U.S. researchers reported in the journal Pediatrics. About 361,161 young people were treated in emergency departments for ATV-related injuries during those years, researchers found.
