One of the most important tools a Web designer can have is the ability to keep his or her ego in check when dealing with customers, writes Aidan Huang. A good trick to prepare for a client's possible rejection of your design concept is to imagine you're presenting someone else's work, and remember the concept can be just one step on the path to the final product, he writes. It's also a good idea to get together with designer friends to share client experiences to remember you aren't alone, he adds.
