Carl Icahn said he has more than $5 billion in financing behind his buyout scenario for Dell. This comes about two weeks before Dell shareholders are scheduled to vote on his bid to buy the PC-maker. The funding, said Icahn, should eliminate any concerns that he doesn't have the backing to support his bid. He said he wants a sit-down with the shareholder committee evaluating his proposal and the go-private offer from company founder Michael Dell.
