Ireland's first real estate investment trust, Green REIT, saw its shares rise by as much as 9% on the first day of trading this week in Dublin. The company is looking to borrow the equivalent of 35% of its equity to focus on buying commercial real estate in Dublin to grow the size of its portfolio. "The Dublin commercial property market has attracted significant interest from international investors over the past twelve months," said Dermot O'Leary, chief economist at Dublin-based Goodbody Stockbrokers.
