The International Trade Commission has dealt Interdigital a blow in its attempt to block the U.S. sale of 3G smartphones made by Huawei Technologies, Nokia and ZTE, Diane Bartz writes. An administrative judge ruled Friday that the phone-makers have not violated patents that Interdigital held related to powering handsets, distributing data and other technologies. The ITC is scheduled to issue a final ruling on the case in October.
