Jamba Juice is building its customer database by inviting visitors to type in their phone numbers on point-of-sale touch screens in return for loyalty rewards. The company is also working on mobile payment solutions. "Our customers are on the go and are actively using their smartphones for everything from communicating with friends to finding the closest Jamba store. Being mobile-accessible is an important criteria for all our programs," said Julie Washington, Jamba Juice's chief brand officer.
