Triple Five, developer of the American Dream Meadowlands project in New Jersey, has sued the New York Giants and the New York Jets, claiming that the NFL franchises are an impediment to construction and have breached their contract with the developer. "We have exhausted our patience and tolerance for the interference and feel that we have to take an affirmative step in protecting our and the public’s interests," says Paul Ghermezian, president of American Dream. "We continue to move ahead with the project and, in August, will host a groundbreaking ceremony followed by commencement of construction activities."
