In a scheduled appearance before the Senate banking committee, MillerCoors executive Tim Weiner will tell lawmakers that practices overseen by the London Metal Exchange are artificially inflating the prices of metals such as aluminum, copper and zinc, and will ask for better oversight of the LME. "We simply ask for the same regulatory and legislative oversight of the LME that other U.S. futures exchanges receive," said Weiner's submission to the banking committee.
