The 2013 Health Care's Most Wired Survey co-conducted by the College of Healthcare Information Management Executives -- or CHIME -- revealed that the hospitals listed as "Most Wired" this year have made immense progress in using health IT to enhance patient documentation and cut drug errors, among other improvements. The survey found, among other things, that 69% of "Most Wired" facilities said their doctors entered drug orders electronically, compared with 60% of all hospitals participating in the survey.
