NASA is trying to revive the Kepler spacecraft, which was crippled two months ago with the failure of a reaction wheel that helps aim its telescope. NASA began a series of tests Thursday to see if the planet-hunting probe can be restarted, with more tests planned for next week. "While this is a positive start, it is very early" in the process, said Kepler project manager Roger Hunter.
