PureCircle says it can produce "great tasting products" that go beyond the typical 30% reduction in sugar with its stevia-based Rebaudioside D. Drink-makers using Rebaudioside A found cutting more than 30% of the sugar resulted in the bitter taste of the stevia coming through. "Our latest formulation is focused on driving deeper reductions in formulations with higher sweetness levels," said PureCircle's Jason Hecker.
