There is a new business- and first-class lounge at Tom Bradley terminal at Los Angeles International Airport. Qantas has teamed up with oneworld alliance partners Cathay Pacific and British Airways to launch the new 11,000-square-foot lounge, which has a bar serving cocktails and coffee, as well as a taco stand and showers.
A new, 200-seat, first-class lounge Qantas is creating at the Los Angeles International Airport won't open this year as planned, the airline says, but instead will launch in January 2015. Qantas also is expanding its business lounge at the airport, and together the two spaces will accommodate 800 people. Qantas says it's creating the first-class lounge based on similar spaces in Melbourne and Sydney.
Airspace Lounge will launch a pay-per-visit lounge in JetBlue’s Terminal 5 at John F. Kennedy International Airport today. The company, owned by Swissport, is set to open a fourth location this year in San Diego, with six more lounges debuting in 2014.
