Ethanol production is on the rise in Paraguay, Peru and Argentina, according to an annual report by the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Foreign Agricultural Service Global Information Network. Paraguay's ethanol output is pegged at 46.2 million gallons this year and about 50 million gallons in 2014, while Peru's is expected to rise 9% from 2012 to 63.4 million gallons this year. Argentina's production capacity is slated to reach about 222 million gallons next year, up 40% from 2012, the report showed.
