More than two dozen adult research subjects recently got to experience the world through the eyes of a 4-year-old to test how manipulating body size and age affects visual perception. The virtual reality experiment, led by a computer scientist at the University of Barcelona, found that while participants saw objects as bigger than they were when viewing them through the eyes of a scaled-down adult, the world looked even larger when they were placed inside the body of a child of the same size.
