Representatives of Home Depot, Target, AutoZone, Lowe's, Walgreen and Macy's signed a letter to Washington, D.C., Mayor Vincent C. Gray this week, urging him to veto the Large Retailer Accountability Act passed by the district's council last week. The measure requires some large retailers to pay workers a minimum wage of $12.50 per hour, which is $4.25 more than the city's current minimum wage.
