Fast-growing north Texas is attracting additional grocery chains and prompting existing ones to open more stores. Trader Joe's is planning a third store in Dallas; WinCo Foods says it will open large-format stores; and ALDI, with 41 stores in the region, is looking to double locations in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Whole Foods Market and Wal-Mart Stores also have plans to expand.
